Graduate Architects

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION AS GRADUATE ARCHITECTS

1.    The applicant shall be a person who :

·       is a citizen or permanent resident of Malaysia;

·       holds a qualification which is recognised by the Board

(Please refer to the List of Recognised Qualification).

2.    An architectural graduate with qualification which is not recognised by the Board shall be required to sit the Part I and II Examination conducted by the Architectural Examination Council of Malaysia

3.    Application for registration must be submitted in the prescribed FORM A together with the following :

·         2 copies of recent photographs

·         A copy of the SPM and STPM certificate or the equivalent

·         A copy of the Diploma or Degree

·         Examination transcripts for each year of study

·         A copy of the Part I and II Examination Certificate, where relevant.

·         Registration fee for the amount of RM 75.00 and RM 50.000 for the processing fee vide cheque / money order / bank draft in favour of the 'Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia’.

4.    All documents submitted must be certified as true copies by a Professional Architect registered with the Board;
